What’s This All About?

These are indicative price ranges — think of them as a guide to what providers plan to charge, not what you will pay out of pocket.

Your actual co-contribution depends on the service you need and your financial situation.

Good news: no co-contributions for clinical care services.

A handy co-contribution calculator will be released soon to help you figure out your share.

How Did We Get These Prices?

Over 300 providers shared their intended prices in a survey back in February 2025 — that’s over a third of all HCP providers across Australia!

These prices aren’t set in stone or official caps — they just give you a heads-up on what’s out there.

What Should You Do?

Use this info to check if your current provider’s prices seem fair.

Pick a provider who can deliver the care you need, approved for you, and at a price that feels right.

Your provider will reach out before July 1 to explain any price changes.

You’ll be asked to agree to a new service agreement with updated prices — but if you’re not happy or confused, you don’t have to sign! Just make sure you have an agreement with someone before the program starts so your care keeps flowing.

Think Prices Are Too High?

Higher prices don’t automatically mean you’re getting ripped off.

Chat with your provider to understand what you’re getting, why prices might be higher, and if your services change from what you had before.

The Aussie Government has your back with rules to keep pricing clear and fair.

Want to Switch Providers? No Worries!

You can change providers if you’re not happy with price changes — before or after 1 July 2025.

No sneaky exit or entry fees here!

Just make sure your new provider’s start date lines up with ending your current one so you don’t miss out on care.

Quick Price Snapshot:

Below you’ll find the typical price ranges providers shared — from low to high — plus the median price, which is the middle ground where half the providers charge less and half charge more.

A Few Notes About the Table:

The Support at Home service list covers all the types of services available, but this table only shows prices where there was enough data to be meaningful.

Prices shown cover services delivered across metro, rural, and regional areas — your local prices might differ a bit.

Prices are shown per unit — each service’s “billable unit” is detailed in the service list (for example, dollars per hour).

Most services are billed by time, but some, like transport or meal delivery, are charged per trip or per meal.

Time-based prices represent a one-hour service. Your provider might charge differently for shorter or longer sessions (like 25 minutes or 1 hour 45 minutes).

Prices reflect standard business hours — if you need care outside these times, it might cost a bit more.
